I am an artsy person passionate about travel, photography, and cognitive science. Born and raised in a small village in Transylvania, I later moved to Denmark to study design. An exchange program eventually brought me to Silicon Valley, where I am currently consulting businesses.

Having lived in several countries, I have developed a deep passion for diverse cultural values and philosophies that I've internalized and continue to inspire and shape my work.

What is my design philosophy?

Ikigai (生き甲斐): Designing products that bring meaningful interactions

By deeply understanding and empathizing with the needs, emotions, and challenges of users, we can uncover genuine insights that lead to intuitive, impactful solutions. This approach allows us to design experiences that truly resonate, addressing not only functional requirements but also emotional connections. I've discovered my purpose and joy in creating products that are not just usable but delightful—ones that foster meaningful interactions and leave a lasting, positive impact on people's lives.

Janteloven (The Law of Jante): Designing for purpose

In my work, I focus on creating designs that prioritize functionality and inclusivity, ensuring that every element serves a meaningful purpose. I avoid unnecessary embellishments, aiming for subtle elegance and simplicity that fosters a sense of calm and harmony. By embracing these values, I aim to create experiences that are both impactful and enduring, reflecting the quiet strength of thoughtful, human-centered design.

Jeong (정): Crafting Connections, Cultivating Belonging

This philosophy guides me to create designs that foster a sense of community, intimacy, and inclusivity. I focus on crafting experiences that evoke comfort and familiarity, ensuring that each element feels inviting and meaningful. Everyone deserves to be included, and I strive to design spaces and products that resonate emotionally while embracing diverse needs. My goal is to go beyond functionality to create solutions that nurture heartfelt connections and a sense of belonging.

Inclusivity: Designing for All

As a designer, I view accessibility as a fundamental aspect of creating inclusive experiences that serve diverse user needs. This involves considering various impairments, such as visual, auditory, cognitive, and physical disabilities, to ensure that everyone, regardless of their circumstances, can interact with designs effectively and comfortably.

Sustainability:
Designing for the Future

Inspired by Don Norman’s philosophy of sustainable design, I focus on creating products and experiences that minimize waste, maximize durability, and prioritize long-term use. Norman emphasizes the importance of designing for longevity and reducing the need for frequent replacements. By considering the full lifecycle of a product, I aim to create designs that are both functional and environmentally responsible, contributing to a sustainable future.

With an 🎓 Academic Degree in Multimedia, Design and Communication, I was able to help start-ups shape their vision into a brand identity and create an online presence attractive to their target customers, enhancing my eye for aesthetics and story-telling skills.

UI Design and Development

During my 🎓 Bachelor Degree in Web Development I become proficient at designing and developing user interfaces with HTML, CSS and JavaScript, while following the UI guidelines for iOS and Android applications.

UX Design

After finishing a 🎓 Master Degree in Human-centered Informatics, I continued to work equipped with theories of cognitive behaviour for creating user experiences that delight and create a significant impact on the well-being of the users.
